Copper piping scope

Air-conditioning copper piping and insulation

An AC needs new copper piping for a new installation, a change in indoor/outdoor unit routing, or when existing piping is found damaged and unsuitable for the unit.

Copper selection and reuse

We select copper suitable for the unit's requirements; pipe quality and sound connections support reliable installation. Existing copper can be approved after checking its condition, cleanliness, size and route for the unit. Reuse is not recommended where damage, leakage, internal contamination or incompatibility with the unit's requirements is present.

Full insulation and protected routing

Complete thermal insulation of AC pipes and joints helps reduce heat gain and condensation. Route fixing and protection against abrasion, damage and external conditions are reviewed for its location. Actual length is measured in linear meters along the installed route, rather than only the straight-line distance between the two units.

Leak testing and vacuum evacuation before operation

The copper route and joints are tested for leaks. Air and moisture are evacuated from the circuit before operation according to the unit requirements and site condition, followed by an operating check. Sizes and test procedures depend on the model; no single figure applies to every air conditioner.

Copper piping rates per metre

  • Mueller: SAR 125 / metre
  • Korean: SAR 90 / metre
  • Chinese: SAR 70 / metre

Prices include VAT under NACE's approved policy, and include copper, insulation and 6 mm electrical wire. The final price depends on actual length, copper type, routing, site conditions and any additional work specified in the proposal; other work is not added to the per-metre price without explanation and approval.

To request copper piping or an installation-route inspection, send your location, approximate route length, site photos and AC model.
