What is the difference between toughened, laminated and double glass?
Toughened glass A common name for thermally tempered glass. Used for doors, partitions and bathrooms according to the design. It can break and usually fragments into smaller pieces than non-tempered glass; the term safety glass does not automatically make it suitable for every location.
Laminated glass Includes glass layers bonded with an interlayer that helps retain fragments after breakage. Whereas Double glazing It describes a glass unit with two panes separated by a sealed insulating spacer. Toughened or laminated panes may be incorporated as required.
These are different descriptions, not identical alternatives: treatment and composition are selected according to use, especially where glass must remain together after breakage.

Tempered glass doors and glazed façades for shops and entrances
Glass doors and façades display products, admit light and maintain visual connection between inside and outside. We review entrance width and height, door travel and daily use before selecting hardware.
Selection includes handles, locks, hinges or floor closers where needed and compatible with the system, considering leaf weight and dimensions. Accessory holes and edge work are defined before glass tempering; we do not rely on improvised alterations after fabrication.
Two thicknesses 10 and 12 mm Options used in some door and partition applications; they are not a fixed rule for every dimension. Final thickness and fixing method are determined by system and design requirements.
Glass partitions for offices and meeting rooms
Glass partitions define spaces without completely blocking light. Clear glass may be assessed for visual openness, partially obscured finishes for privacy, or a combination of clear and covered areas according to use.
Partitions can use frames or less visible fixing details according to the appropriate system. Meeting rooms requiring acoustic privacy need a review of glass, doors, joints and sealing; A clear partition or single tempered-glass pane does not guarantee speech insulation.
Made-to-measure glass shower enclosures
Options include fixed partitions, enclosures with hinged doors or sliding systems, depending on bathroom space and circulation. Glass layout is selected to suit the shower, door, basin and maintenance access openings.
Before fabrication, we check wall alignment, floor slope, drain and threshold positions. Hinges, handles and seals suitable for wet use are selected, with access for maintenance and cleaning.
Choose clear glass or a finish offering greater visual screening based on the sample. Coatings that help reduce water deposits are specified only when a particular product is approved; they do not replace cleaning or plumbing leak repairs.
Wall and decorative mirrors for entrances, bathrooms and bedrooms
Custom mirrors allow dimensions and divisions to suit the wall and furniture rather than a standard size. Rectangular, round, oval, arched or divided wall mirrors can be selected according to the design and manufacturing and installation feasibility.
Options include polished or beveled edges and framed or frameless mirrors, with bevel width and edge profile specified before manufacturing. Mirrors reflect light and the opposing scene and create a sense of space, but do not generate natural light themselves.
We specify mirror material, thickness, source, back treatment and fixing method according to the selected product. Mirror origin or brand is not attributed without supplier documentation, with no promise that edges will never blacken; product selection, edge protection, moisture and cleaning all matter.
LED-lit mirrors
Backlighting or perimeter lighting can be integrated into the design, with a selected color temperature, intensity and power-source location. Maintenance access and electrical component suitability are considered, particularly in bathrooms.
Before fixing the mirror, we check wall readiness, electrical points, cable routing and adhesive or fixing compatibility with its backing. Additional electrical work or wall alterations are excluded unless stated in the quotation.
Arranged square mirrors give a wall a regular rhythm, while large mirrors suit entrances and offices. Joint layout, edges and fixing points are reviewed according to dimensions and wall type.
Standard clear glass An option for clear views, potentially with a green tint depending on thickness and product. Low-iron clear glass — Extra Clear Reduces this tint when colour purity matters to the design.
Frosted or sandblasted glass and opaque coverings are selected according to the privacy required and ease of cleaning. Complete visual screening is not promised before sample approval; silhouettes may remain visible when a person or light is close to the glass.
Reflective glass remains dependent on the lighting difference and is not presented as a guaranteed solution for nighttime privacy. Blinds, coverings or less transparent glass can be considered where required.
What determines tempered-glass and mirror prices?
Price depends on pane area and quantity, glass type and thickness, edge finishes, holes and accessories. Mirrors also involve shape, bevel, frame and lighting options. Site access, lifting, removal and substrate preparation also affect price.
Specified in the quotation Supply and installation inclusions, material and accessory specifications, exclusions, VAT, payments, duration and warranty. The rate per metre may differ between projects because scope or details are not identical.

Is tempered glass unbreakable?
It can break under conditions beyond its capacity or following significant damage. Glass type, support method and edge protection are essential; laminated glass or another system may be required depending on location.
Should I choose 10 mm or 12 mm?
Thickness is not finalized before reviewing piece dimensions, use, fixing method and accessories. It is specified in the order rather than determined by area alone.
Can a shower enclosure be customised for a small bathroom?
Available space, circulation and floor slope are assessed. Fixed, sliding or hinged panels may be suitable depending on the site and available system.
Are mirrors suitable for bathrooms?
Products suited to this use can be selected, with protected edges, suitable fixing and cleaning methods, and ventilation. Not all mirrors offer the same moisture resistance.
Are concealed-lighting mirrors available?
They can be included in the request, subject to approval of form, light level, electrical provisions and maintenance requirements. Included work is stated in the quotation.
